M\u00e4rz wurde R\u00fcmeysa \u00d6zt\u00fcrk, Doktorandin an der Tufts University und Mitglied der Gewerkschaft SEIU, von maskierten Bundeseinwanderungsbeh\u00f6rden auf offener Stra\u00dfe festgenommen. Ihre Verhaftung ist ein klarer Angriff auf unsere Redefreiheit. R\u00fcmeysa kommt aus der T\u00fcrkei, sie hatte ein g\u00fcltiges Studentenvisum, wurde aber verhaftet und in ein Haftzentrum in Louisiana gebracht. Und warum? Weil sie vor kurzem von ihrem Recht auf freie Meinungs\u00e4u\u00dferung Gebrauch gemacht hatte, indem sie in der Studentenzeitung einen Meinungsartikel zur Unterst\u00fctzung des pal\u00e4stinensischen Volkes verfasste.<\/p><p>Wir werden nicht tatenlos zusehen, wie der erste Verfassungszusatz vor unseren Augen in Brand gesteckt wird.
