This means that 350,000 Haitian TPS holders will continue to receive protection from deportation and work authorization while the case proceeds to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in one of these cases, <em>Minot v. Noem<\/em>, 1:25-cv-02471, in April, following the government&#8217;s appeal of the federal D.C. district court decision that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2026\/02\/02\/us\/haitians-tps-ruling.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blocks<\/a> the February 3, 2026, termination of TPS for Haiti. However, TPS holders from Haiti will continue to enjoy protection from deportation and related work authorization until the Supreme Court issues a decision stating otherwise. Additional details will be known in the coming weeks.
