Update: On December 12, 2025, the Trump administration ወስኗል to terminate TPS for Ethiopian TPS holders. The Trump Department of Homeland Security scheduled TPS from Ethiopia to end effective February 13, 2026, causing TPS holders to soon lose TPS and related work authorization.

- After February 13, 2026, TPS holders will not be able to use expired TPS work permits as proof of work authorization.

You continue to be authorized to work through February 13, 2026.
- If your employer asks, you can show this የፌዴራል መመዝገቢያ ማስታወቂያ showing that TPS holders remain authorized to work through February 13, 2026.
- If your employer asks, and you have work authorization pursuant to another form of immigration relief, such as a pending asylum claim, you can show them your work permit pursuant to other immigration relief.
- በማህበር የተወከሉ ከሆነ፣ የእርስዎን ህብረት ተወካይ ያነጋግሩ።
- በማህበር ከተወከሉ፣የማህበር ተወካይዎን ያነጋግሩ። ማኅበራችሁ ላልተከፈለ የዕረፍት ፈቃድ፣ የሥራ ስንብት ክፍያ ወይም ሌላ የመለያየት ጥቅማጥቅሞችን ከአሰሪዎ ጋር መደራደር ይችላል።
- የታመነ የኢሚግሬሽን ጠበቃን ወዲያውኑ ያግኙ። ከ "notarios" ወይም አጭበርባሪዎች ይጠንቀቁ. በአጠገብዎ ታዋቂ የሆነ የህግ አገልግሎት አቅራቢ ያግኙ።
