TPS Available Through June 12, 2024

On December 12, 2022, DHS បានប្រកាស that because of armed conflict and humanitarian concerns over access to food, water, and healthcare, Temporary Protected Status (TPS) would be available for 18-months to eligible Ethiopians living in the United States as of October 20, 2022. TPS will protect you from deportation and permission to work in the U.S. from December 12, 2022, through June 12, 2024.

Ethiopians living in the U.S. since October 20, 2022, are eligible to apply for TPS.

On December 12, 2022, DHS posted a សេចក្តីជូនដំណឹងអំពីការចុះឈ្មោះសហព័ន្ធ with instructions on how to apply for TPS and work authorization. To qualify for TPS, eligible Ethiopians must submit a TPS application (ទម្រង់ I-821) between December 12, 2022, and June 12, 2024.
