Temporary Protected Status – Lebanon

Lebanon

TPS available through November 27, 2026

On May 28, 2026, DHS issued a Federal Register notice automatically extending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Lebanon. TPS is available for an additional 6 months to eligible Lebanese through November 27, 2026. TPS protects from deportation and grants permission to work in the U.S.

Lebanese who have lived in the U.S. since October 16, 2024, and applied and were granted TPS and work authorization are eligible for a 6-month extension of that TPS and work authorization until November 27, 2026.

Lebanese who currently have TPS do not need to apply for an extension of TPS or related work authorization. Both are automatically extended until November 27, 2026.

Your current work permit is automatically extended and valid through November 27, 2026; and if your employer asks, you can show them your work permit and this Federal Register notice.
