IAMERICA strongly believes in the importance of your privacy. IAMERICA is a coalition that consists of the Pro Bono Attorney Network, Mi Familia Vota, the Service Employees International Union, and the Immigration Associates Network. Additional partners may be added to the IAMERICAN campaign at any point in the future. This Privacy Policy describes how IAMERICA treats the personal information we collect through the IAMERICA website (the “Website”) and what we do with that information. By using or accessing the Website, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Statement applies only to information collected online through the Website and does not describe the ways in which we may collect or use information obtained offline or through any means other than our Website.

For example, if you sign up to receive information by mail, we will ask for your street address. You may update or correct your personal account information and email preferences at any time by visiting your account profile page.

   Welcome to IAMERICA.org. By using and/or visiting this Website, you signify your agreement to (1) these terms and conditions (the “User Agreement”), (2) IAMERICA’s Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference, and (3) IAMERICA’s Richtlijnen voor de gemeenschapook hier opgenomen door middel van verwijzing. IAMERICA reserves the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases.
   4. You do not transmit or otherwise make available any content containing any “virus,” “worm,” “trojan horse,” or any other computer code, file, or program designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

IAMERICA reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to delete, move, condense, or edit such User Content for any reason and without prior notice. IAMERICA also reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Registered User’s access for posting User Content.

You also hereby grant each user of the Website a non-exclusive license to access your User Content through the Website, and to use, reproduce, and distribute such User Content for such user’s personal, non-commercial purposes. You understand and agree that IAMERICA may retain, reproduce, distribute and otherwise use for any purpose copies of User Content that has been removed from the Website. The above licenses granted by you are perpetual and irrevocable.

5. IAMERICA does not endorse, authorize or ratify any User Content, or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein, and IAMERICA expressly disclaims all liability in connection with User Content. IAMERICA does not permit copyright infringing activities and infringement of intellectual property rights on its Website, and IAMERICA reserves the right, but does not assume the obligation, to remove any content from the Website if notified that such content infringes on another’s intellectual property rights.

IAMERICA reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the IAMERICA Content and the IAMERICA Marks.
2. The Website is made available for your personal, non-commercial use only. As part of such use, you may display, download and/or print pages from the site; you may link to the Website; and you may forward Website materials to others for personal, non-commercial uses that are reasonably related to the Website’s purposes.
3. 3. Mogelijkheid om gebruikersovereenkomst te accepteren
   U bevestigt dat u ofwel ouder bent dan 18 jaar, of een geëmancipeerde minderjarige, of beschikt over de wettelijke toestemming van een ouder of voogd, en volledig in staat en bevoegd bent om de voorwaarden, bepalingen, verplichtingen, verklaringen en garanties aan te gaan die in deze Gebruikersovereenkomst worden uiteengezet, en dat u zich zult houden aan en zult voldoen aan deze Gebruikersovereenkomst. In elk geval bevestigt u dat u ouder bent dan 13 jaar, aangezien de IAMERICA-website niet bedoeld is voor kinderen jonger dan 13 jaar.
   
   
4. Diverse

This User Agreement shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of Washington, D.C., without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any claim or dispute between you and IAMERICA that arises in whole or in part from the Website shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Washington, D.C. This User Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by IAMERICA on the Website, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and IAMERICA concerning the Website and supersedes prior agreements, if any, between you and IAMERICA relating to any matter dealt with in the User Agreement. If any provision of this User Agreement is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this User Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this User Agreement shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and IAMERICA’s failure to assert any right or provision under this User Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. This User Agreement, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by IAMERICA without restriction. This User Agreement and the rights and obligations created hereunder shall be binding upon and inure solely to the benefits of the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns, and nothing in this Agreement, express or implied, is intended or should be construed to confer upon any other person any right, remedy or claim under or by virtue of this Agreement.

U en IAMERICA komen overeen dat elke rechtsvordering die voortvloeit uit of verband houdt met de Website moet worden ingesteld binnen één (1) jaar nadat de rechtsvordering is ontstaan. Anders wordt een dergelijke rechtsvordering permanent geblokkeerd.

Deze Gebruikersovereenkomst is van kracht vanaf 18 november 2014.
